Located at 3148 North Broad Street, Broad Street Pizza was cited for 9 critical violations during a July 29, 2008 health inspection. The health inspector noted the following violations:

Rat infestation was present. Rat droppings are observed in the basement area, during time of inspection.

Mouse infestation was present. Mice dropping are observed on the floor in the establishment.

Roach infestation was present. Live roaches are observed in the establishment, during time of inspection.

Rat infestation was present. Several rat feces observed on the floor of the basement.

Mouse infestation was present. Mouse feces observed primarily on the floor inside the cabinets.

Frankie's Luncheonette, located at 1356 South Corlies Street, was inspected by the department of health on November 21, 2008. The health inspector found that the restaurant was infested with mice. Mouse droppings observed behind the freezer in the prep area and in the basement. mice feces observed along the kitchen floor perimeters, the basement floor by the washing machine, and near the basement toilet room.
