54th St. Fresh Donuts & Cooked Seafood, located at 1915 North 54th Street was found in violation of 3 critical health violations. During a November 13, 2008 inspection, the health department found:
Roach infestation was present. Roaches present under shelving and in prep area at time of inspection.
Mouse infestation was present. Mouse droppings observed on floor and on shelving in storage area.

Frankie's Luncheonette, located at 1356 South Corlies Street, was inspected by the department of health on November 21, 2008. The health inspector found that the restaurant was infested with mice. Mouse droppings observed behind the freezer in the prep area and in the basement. mice feces observed along the kitchen floor perimeters, the basement floor by the washing machine, and near the basement toilet room.
